"Easily able to hold its own amongst the finest zombie horror films Hollywood has offered us and putting many to shame I add. Overall this was one hell of a film, one of the best I've sat down and watched in a long time and you can bet your ass I'll be watching it again, very soon!"  - ANDY, HMANDM.COM

"Dead Life kicked me in the crotch and spit on my neck and left me lying in front of my TV... waiting and hoping for the second part! So sit back and enjoy one of the sexiest independent Zombie films to date, because word from the grinder has it that "DEAD LIFE" rocks the house down!!!!"  - ROB A., MEATGRINDER

"This could be the next Sam Rami." FISHCOMCOLLECTIVE.NET

"I COMPLETELY enjoyed this flick.  William Schotten has raised the indie horror bar, big time!-JEFF BRECKON, HORRORWATCH.COM

"Schotten Filmworks delivers the goods in DEAD LIFE. Backed by excellent acting and trippy Tool-like, fast paced, jittery filming DEAD LIFE is a must see."  -UNSPEAKABLEMAG.COM

         Synopsis:

Like a combination of CABIN FEVER and DAWN OF THE DEAD, DEAD LIFE mixes the fear of viral contagion with the horror of the walking dead. Max is haunted by the death of his father, who was transformed into a flesh-eating zombie by a deadly virus. Many years later, the virus is spreading again through rural America, and Max must once again face his fears as well as the undead. He and a group of his friends will have to battle the zombies and escape town if they hope to survive. With a gritty, low-budget aesthetic and a hardcore metal soundtrack, DEAD LIFE is a return to the grim roots of the genre.
